Hazard is Chelsea's best player and we need him - Fabregas

Belgium coach Roberto Martinez and Eden Hazard during the World Cup in Russian Federation.

His fine World Cup this summer has seen his value increase further, although Chelsea do not want to sell the Belgian worldwide.

Chelsea, however, value Hazard at a minimum of £200m and remain hopeful of convincing him to sign a new contract with the club, where he has two-years remaining on his current deal.

Chelsea and Madrid are well apart in their valuation of the player, but it is suggested that Hazard may play a part by forcing through a move.

Poyet said Hazard was already in talks to join Real Madrid and would be the best replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, who left the club for Juventus.

The La Liga giants are ready to make Hazard the second most expensive player in history with a £170m bid for the Belgian in the next week.

The forward, for his part, responded to the Real Madrid reports by telling journalists last Saturday: "You know my preferred destination. I hope I can improve him but this will be hard because he has reached a very high level".

'I think that I am one of few managers who is bored by transfer market.

The Sunday Express ran a similar story, reporting that Chelsea will not sell the Belgian unless they decide they want to.

"I'll stay", Neymar said.

Unless we change our stance drastically, we wouldn't expect him to leave.

'I am not afraid' Sarri replaces Antonio Conte, who was sacked by Chelsea despite winning the Premier League in 2016-17 and the FA Cup in 2017-18. "It's an exciting time, we start from zero and want to win things".

The player is in the a year ago of his contract with his current club, and has had his sights set on a move to Madrid to be nearer his two children, who live in the city.
